Sanjeev Mishra “Fantan” was born on 6 December 1990 into a modest family. His father worked with Indian Railways as an AC fitter, while his grandfather retired from the Uttar Pradesh Police after serving as a Kotwal.

A family background connected with public service created an early atmosphere of hard work, discipline and responsibility. Later circumstances turned those values into practical necessities.

The most difficult turning point came early

The accidental death of his elder brother was a deep loss for the family. His father passed away thereafter, leaving the household in difficult financial circumstances and bringing everyday responsibility to the forefront.

This was the period in which responsibility arrived earlier than expected. Rather than distancing himself from difficult work, he learned to accept available work with dignity.

Work, education and the foundations of self-reliance

2009–2011

He worked as a professional driver, including a period as a personal driver, while carrying family responsibilities and continuing his studies.

Graduate

Continuing education alongside work and financial difficulty was an important achievement of this phase.

Contracting

From around 2011, work expanded into labour arrangements, soil supply, vehicles and construction-related logistics.

As enterprise grew, so did the capacity to help

From around 2015, his experience expanded into property dealing, land-related work and plotting projects. Working with others on projects strengthened professional self-reliance.

As his financial position improved, the scope of support also widened. Education, medical treatment, daughters’ marriages, housing needs and help for economically weaker families became more regular parts of his social engagement.

Self-reliance widened the capacity to support families in need.
